Ive been trying to fix this problum for two years, Ive got OEM wheels and had loads of balance jobs done, put new dunlop tyres on that seemed to make the most differance but it is just slightly still there, so I must agree it must have something to do with the tyres, I think the only solution is to go to Lexus and say put your OEM tyres on please and pay the money see if that sorts it out if not keep going back untill they do.

I had the same thing on my mk1, it was worn out parking brake shoes metal to metal on the inside of the drum.

Lexus fixed it! new shoes new disks/drums and pads both sides cost loads :cries:

The BMW Bunch would just love to see a dead Lexus on the side of the road,

I had the same thing,

It was a brake light bulb. still worked but going black on its glass, so bulb on its way out.

replaced bulb all good again, lexus lamp monitor warns you before the lamp fails :D

I have gs300 mk1 1998 and have the same prob, only happens after things have warmed up (10 min drive )and slow speeds turning into the drive way but not all the time.

Ive looked at everything.
