  1. Does anyone know if I can put some 20x 8.5 on my Lexus es300 without rubbing?

YES I have 20x8.5 on my 97 ES no problem just get spacers for your springs and adjust the height a little mine ride great, I need to bring the lift down a little . I also went and had all 4 filled with Nitro great ride and all around better. I know all the controversy about 20's but I love mine and the ride really isn't that bad.Get great complements on them.PS I loose about 2 lbs every 3-4 months with Nitro and for 39.99 unlimited fills. At least where I go.

  2. My wife's 2006 ES300 has 41,000 miles on it. When she turned the key to start the car the other day, the black plastic that is molded around the end of the key broke and the inside and covers fell apart in her hand. No apparent reason for it diong so. I have a 1999 RX300 with 104,000 miles on it and never had this happen with its' keys. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. These keys are extravagantly high priced. I got a quote of $154.00, and then the thing has to be programmed before it will operate.

I have tried gluing the key back together but it will not hold. Yes, I used CRAZY glue. I've used crazy glue to glue almost anytning, but can't get it to hold that key together.

The key will start the car if the square thing inside it that has the lock/unlock buttons in it is held close to the ignition when trying to start the engine. I just wish I had some kind of glue that would bond the pieces so it will hold together.

  3. Hi everyone - Happy New Year

I posted about this about a month ago...but still need help.

My remote key thing will not work.  I've had several new batteries put in, still nothing.  Checked the manual and I don't have that particular switch underneath the steering wheel to turn on/off.

Today I finally visited the dealer and after trying one last time with a new battery, they decided that I need a new key thing/transmittor altogether.  Cost:  $180  *ouch*

So...is there any way around this?  Can these keyfobs be purchased online or elsewhere cheaper, and then taken to the dealer for programming?

In the meantime I have to open my door manually with the key and MAN DO I HATE IT  <_<

    Thanks!!

Go To Auto Zone They have them now with the code.Mrbobbyd
