  1. Just had the same problem on my '02 IS300. Compared front calipers & saw that only the passenger side had a zip tie helping to hold the speed sensor wire/clip at the caliper. Zipped the driver's side & no lights for 200 miles so far. Seems possible but unlikely that I snapped it driving over crunchy snow.
  2. I took the latch apart and cleaned/lubed everything as much as possible. It's been 6 months now, and the alarm has only gone off twice since. Much improved - Thanks !
  3. Same question on my 2002 IS300. No mention of auto trans fluid interval in the manual. There's a sticker on the dipstick that says something like 'does not require changing under normal driving conditions' - but I now have 140K, and there's a lag shifting from 2nd to 3rd (I do stick to 'normal' driving). Should I change it anyway ? Thanks !
  4. The factory alarm in my 2002 IS300 goes of randomly 1-2 times per week. Horn and flashers. No correlation to temperature, humidity, time parked, etc. I tried locking it with the key (vs. remote), but it still happens. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would the computer store a code ? Thanks !
