  1. I had all 4 struts on my '94 ES 300 [170K miles] replaced today. Cost me around $800 including labor. Wonder how this figures with you guys?

I'm not at all happy with the new gas KYB's. [Part # 334131 /32 front and 334176 / 77 back, I think] The ride seemed a bit too jumpy and the shocks are a bit hard. I miss that sweet smooth ride of my Lexus on the really beaten old struts. The old ones did a "thunk" on sharp bumps but mannnn...that was a cushy soft ride otherwise. The new ones seem to react to every little bump and has me jumpy inside.

Is there something I can have my mechanic do to get that old cushy soft ride of my Lexus again?

I have the same question... about my 2010 RX350....

    LOVED my 2006....

    not loving this 2010....

    VERY hard lumpy seats...

    ride is so jumpy bumpy...

Im going to call for service to see if there are any options...

  2. Greeting,

So I was suppose to take delivery of my new RX on Friday. The car was being shipped from out of state. I have already signed the initial paper work with a down-payment. The dealer called me up on Friday afternoon and lets me know that I cannot pick up the car until Monday due to minor problem. There was a dent on the right side door. I requested a picture of the dent, but received nothing. I feel like I am no longer purchasing a brand new car being that there is a dent that already needs to be fixed.

What you you do in this situation? Would you ask for a discount or wait for another car?

Thanks for your opinion in advance.

I drove my car home from the dealer and when I got home I noticed a deep scratch on the drivers side...

I reported it and they took the car and repainted the entire door... A dent is more damage but if they fix it...hmmmm

I would say they should ley you see how big of a dent it is...
