  1. I do not have consistant temperature in the cabin when the heater is used. Sometimes its too hot when the heat is set to 68 and other times its too hot. Any idea of where to start? I see there is a temperature sensor on the drivers side, but have not gone beyond that

  2. Recently I have had a noise between the A and C pillars. It sounds like a flapping noise, and I thought it was due to the rear A/C at first, but it doesn't matter if I am running A/C, windows up or down, or what speed I am driving. It does happen only when I am driving, but I can't seem to find where wind would be getting into something, if that is what's happening. Any suggestions?

  3. Hello All and Thank you for reading.

Upon recharging my AC for the season in a 1999 LX470, I noticed a leak in the "suction hose", the leak is just above the rear passenger tire, leading into the rear AC. Any ideas as to how to remove this hose and if ther are anyone here that have had the same issue. The part can be bought online for under $100, however at first glance, appears to be a difficult job. Any assistance on this fix would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Update, I had a mechanic look into this leak, amazes me that nobody appears to have seem to ever have had this problem given the location of the Suction Hoze..it sits right on top of the chassis right in the middle of the wheel well. This tight area is great to catch all water, salt and road debris and sits there for many years, rotting the aluminum tubing. $1500 will take care of this issue. Thanks for reading

I had a pressure line leak in the same area and choose to bypass the rear AC rather than deal with the repair. The old pressure line fittings were crimped and brazed to seal off the remainder of the system.
