  1. Yes. I used a drimmel saw to cut off the washer that actually seems to be part of the bolt which doesn't make sense since it's a service part! Be careful not to cut the actual bolt! Once you do this you can simply slide off the broken arm and slip on the new one and install the bolt then the plastic cover.

  2. I have the same issue. This surge in RPM happens to me occasionally when I am stopped at traffic lights or drive thrus! Its not a crazy acceleration but enough to make sure you apply enough brake pressure to keep from rolling into the car in front of you. I believe this is an issue with the torque converter possibly

  3. Did you ever figure out how to reattach the rear wiper arm? The rear wiper arm on my GX470 just broke the other day and waiting for the new part to arrive. However, I am curious to see how you removed the wiper arm? Did you simply remove the plastic cover piece and then remove the nut? I got to this step and when I tried to pull the arm off it wouldn't budge.

  4. I have the original OEM battery in my 2004 GX70 with 125k miles on the car and the battery still works and when I checked the battery condition window on the top of the battery....it is still BLUE. Based on this experience I might buy the same battery again from a Toyota! dealer.

since how long you have had and how much did you pay for...and was it via the dealer. How long did the original battery (OEM) last.
