  1. Hey Everyone,

Much to my regret, I am selling my 1994 SC400 with only 117k original miles on it. I have spent the better part of this year making all kinds of upgrades and improvements, and now, due to some immediate financial concerns, I must sell quickly... The Kelly Blue Book on the car in "Good" condition is $6700.00 I've done so much to this car that far exceed this value, but as I said, I am in a desperate situation... I am willing to let her go for only $6000.00 cash!!! Below is a list of things I've already done...

    -new motor and tranny mounts

    -new brakes all around

    -new tires all around

    -alignement

-new engine timing belt & pulleys

    -new water pump

    -BFI intake w/K&N air filter

-new custom cat-back exhaust w/true duals back to two Magna-Flo mufflers

    -new custom floor mats

    -new leather brake boot

    -new performance plugs and wires

-new 1000watt Alpine Stereo System w/amps and sub

The only thing that I did not have time to do, was to put a new coat of paint on her, but as you can see in the pictures, the paint is not that bad off anyway... Call me asap if you are interested in the car. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico...

    Thanks,

    Tom

  2. Hi there,

I read your post. I don't know where you live, but I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I just happen to have for sale on craig's list and in the Albuquerque Classifieds my 1994 Sc400 with only 117k original miles on it... In answering your question, yes there are several mods that can be made, as I have done already with my Sc. I am listing my car for $6900.00 or best offer... The kelly blue book on the car in just "good" condition is $6700.00, but with the mods I've already made, the value is far greater.

If your are interested, I think that you should definately check out my ride at Craig's list, New Mexico, Albuquerque, under cars and trucks. If you can't find it there, try a google search under Albuquerque Journal Classified Ads, under auto ads. My car is not only a Beast, it is a beauty as well. I am waiting for someone, somewhere to make me a fair offer...

The best thing to do is to call me asap. You can also notify me by e-mail if you have any questions. In conclution, yes, these cars are absolutely incredible when modified. Mine has already been Well taken care of... Check out my ad, and if interested, call me and make me a serious offer...

    Thanks,

    Tom

  4. Hello Everyone,

I have a 1994 Sc400 with 117k original miles on it. It has been my great pleasure in fixing her up and bringing her back to her glory days. But alas, as I have recently fallen upon some serious financial difficulties, I sadley have to let her go. This beauty was already in great shape when I purchaced her from a long time freind, but the improvemnts that I have made to her make her a real steal. The following are the things that I've done...

    -new motor and tranny mounts

    -new brakes all around

    -new tires all around

    -alignment

-new performance spark plugs & wires

-new BFI intake w/ K&N filter

-new engine timing belt & pulleys

    -new water pump

-new custome cat-back exhaust w/ true duals back to two Magna-Flo mufflers

    -custome fit floor mats

    -new leather brake boot

-new 1000watt Alpine stereo system w/two amps and sub box

I live in Albuquerque New Mexico, and I am selling this beauty for only $7500.00 The only thing that I did not get a chance to do was to give her a coat of paint, but even so she is still in pretty good shape, with the sea-foam blue green color. If you have any interest, please call me asap, as I have posted on craigs list in Albuquerque, and the local Albuquerque Journal Classifieds. In fact, photos can been seen there...

    Thanks ,

    Tom

  5. Lexus LS400 '93 and '94 have a problem with the instrument cluster lights (dash lights). Many many people have this problem. The dash lights won't come on for a while, then they will flicker and finally come on. This is more evident in cold weather. This problem gets worse over a period of weeks or months until they will refuse to come on at all. When the light are off, the fuel gauge points to empty as well.

The problem, I found, is in the power supply circuit boards. They are located behind the instrument cluster. I have compiled some detailed instructions on how to remove those boards. If you want a copy of those instructions, just Email (PM) me. I'll Email them to you, no charge. I would attach them here, but they are larger than the 102.4KB limit on this board.

My car did that. '93 LS400. The Lexus dealer wanted $1400 to repair it. I repaired mine myself, I'm an electronics engineer and I can help you repair yours too! Email me or PM me

  6. I have a 1994 Sc400 that I just completed the BFI intake on and I am happy with the results. My next question however is, has anyone tried replacing the exhaust system with a full cat-back system, and how were the results, good or bad? I have a shop here in town that says that they can custom make me one for around $750.00 from the cats all the way back.

  7. Hi, I am new to this site and this is my first post. I have a 1994 SC400 that I have recently replaced the factory Nakamichi Premium Sound System with an aftermarket system. All three factory componets, that being the head unit, the factory amp, and the 12 disk CD changer are in good working order. I was wondering where I might list these items for sale to someone who might be looking for these stock componets. I am looking to sell them individually for $200 each, or all three as a package deal for $500. If anyone has any ideas. please let me know.dtatommy66@aol.com

It would be helpful if you posted this in the member's classified area with pictures.. Ebay is another area where people where people list these.
