I do have a 2003 LX470 and live in Norway. Iàm useing the original Nav.system with a European DVD without doeing changes to the system.

When thalking about entertainment system and PAL it`s not possible. Here you have to make or buy zonefree disks.

In United States DVD format is "NTSC"

and in europe it's "PAL"

and i want to change Lexus DVD Navigation from "NTSC" format to "PAL" because i live in europe and it's impossible tu use "NTSC" format here. All DVD Disks are on "PAL" format in Europe. :(

Have you found the solution for "resetting" the nav system after you pushed the "loading" botton?

I did the same thing and can not find any people in the Lexus system to help me.....

Have also tried to disconect the battery in the ECU without luck.

Can someone help me???!!

Lexus Override

Step 1 Press The Menu button

Step 2 Press the System button

Step 3 Press The Upper Left of the screen

Step 4 Press The Lower Left of the screen

Step 5 Press Upper Left of the screen again

Step 6 Press Lower Left of the screen again

Step 7 Press The Lower Right of the screen

Step 8 Press and hold the Override Button until system beeps

Step 9 Press Back Button in upper right corner

Done! The Buttons For Navigation & Phone are now accessible

I screwed up my navigation system by click Loadin and selecting europe

Error;System unable to access the program.

I havea 2003 LX-470 and have been locked out of it and did remove the ECU unit pulled the ribbon wire and put it back in. No luck

The car was shipped overseas so there is no one that can fix it all

I get is the japenese screen. with Error;System unable to access the program

Can anyone help ?

I would appreciate it if anyone has a solution. I am really bumming :cries:
