Jfinlay
Hi, first time poster. A brief introduction. My wife inherited a 98 LS400 in 2004 and it has been relatively problem free. It is garage kept, 165,000 miles and had normal maintenance (timing belt, water pump, fluid change, brakes, shocks, etc). Recently it had a check vsc issue and lost the throttle control motor. After replacing it, it started showing P0120, Throttle Position Sensor. I replaced it and the accelerator position sensor, but the TPS still shows the P0120 and shows a TPS value of 0%. I’ve reached the point where I am beyond my ability. Is there a recommended older Lexus diagnostician in the Glen Burnie, Elkridge, Columbia, Crofton, Annapolis area that might be able to diagnose and repair? Obviously, if I took it to Lexus of Annapolis, the bill would be way more than the car is worth. Thanks for any advice/recommendations in advance.
