wristcheckandcanyondrives Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Hi, I’m due for new tires and my family and I occasionally go off-roading(easy -moderate trails) about once to twice a month. So I’m looking on installing all terrain tires and getting new wheels as well. Current wheels are the 20” oem Lexus spider wheels and will go down to 17” wheels to get a meatier tires(265/70/17 - BFG Trail Terrain) to absorb some of the bumps when off roading. I’m concerned about rubbing as the tire I’m choosing will be 31.6” in height comparison to the oem tire height of 30.2”. I’m fully aware of the Speedo issue and I’m fine that, just concern about the fitment issue. My car is in stock form and have no plans on lifting it to fit a bigger tire. Just want to know what’s the biggest tire I can fit while keeping the stock height. According to discount tire, this size should fit, just wanted to get some input from other people that might have this setup.
wristcheckandcanyondrives Posted January 29, 2022 Author Posted January 29, 2022 Decided to stick oem 20” and 255/55 AT Tires. Tires height grew to 31”.
Chuck koukou Posted November 5 Posted November 5 It has been two years. How did you like the tires? Any issues?
