Mikj
I tore a rip in the front center console lid of my wife's RX350, and want to replace it with a new lid. Does anyone know how to remove the lid? Thanks!

Mikj
I was able to remove the cover/lid by removing the 2 E-rings and tapping out the post.
ronald kleiman
I have an RX350 2015. There is excessive wear on the upholstered console lid and it's about to tear so I want to swap out the leather material. I have successfully removed the lid. Now I just need to separate the top upholstered part from the plastic base it is attached to. The top does need to come off to enable removing the old torn fabric and staple on a replacement. There are no visible screws and my suspicion is the two parts are solidly glued together. Hope I'm wrong. Anyone know how to separate them?
