go4par Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 My 2001 Lexus RX 300 had over 235,000 miles now. Previously replaced the timing belt by dealer on 110,000 mile then I drove 125,000 miles. This time I replaced the timing belt and water pump myself then I have CEL P1346. Engine runs fine but CEL .Code scanner saying VVT sensor/camshaft position sensor circuit range /performance problem bank 1. I replaced both VVT solenoids that didn't help. I am sure I installed it correctly but want to know what causing the triggered the cel turned on. Anybody had any idea?
LEX200108 Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 I know this is an old post, but it appears the timing belt is off a tooth.
