My kids have destroyed one on the OEM Lexus IR headphones that came with the rear entertainment system. Lexus wanted $200+ for new ones. I found a pair of Audiovox headphones over the headend for $39.99 and decided to take a chance. They work great! My kids say they even have less static then the Lexus factory ones. I'm going back for a couple more just to keep them on the shelf for future replacements.

They were next to the mobile video screens and DVD automotive kits. I'll see if I can post the model number. My guess is the IR receiver is an OEM chip that most IR headphones use anyways. Why reinvent IR audio transmission?

Just though others might like to know. :D
