The non functioning front door & floor courtesy lights is likely due to a faulty (very expensive) door lock actuator. :egads: In lieu of the $500 ++ I can live without the floor and door lights - fortunately the dome light works. This problem is likely the reason I am unable to program the key remote. I'm hoping I can rewire these lights and install the old fashioned door pin switches. A lot less to go wrong. Has anyone examined the innards of the door latch mechanism - is it serviceable? I hestate tearing the door panel off just to find entire replacement is the only solution.
