Headlights dim, click in shift console when braking

To Whom It May Concern, and to Any and All:

It concerns my 1992 Lexus LS 400, Burgundy with gold letters, LS 400 on right rear trunk lid too, cool wheels, cold air, new tune-up, radio w/CD-DVD player. "I be lookin' so good if I left my home in the North Georgia Mountains and went to Atlanta I'd get carjacked for certain!" But, since I'm an old "duck", I enjoy driving it to Wal-Stuff and back.

The Problem: When I press on the brake pedal, the headlights "dim slightly" and a "click" is heard coming from under the shift console.

Wife says she wants to take shift console apart and find the problem. So I thought..."I'll help her", by asking..."YOU" first!   Thanks in advance Everybody.
