Hello all. It's everyone's favorite forum user. The dude who signs up to ask a question.

I recently disconnected my battery for a few days to replace the secondary air injection pump in my GX. (I now see why lexus charges so much for this repair) Anywho, after buttoning back up the engine, I reconnected the negative terminal on the battery and started my truck back up. On the test drive with my girlfriend in the passenger seat, I started to roll down my window and was surprised to see that the auto roll down feature did not work. My girlfriend also tried to roll down her window just slightly. It would roll down, but would not roll up. My girlfriend then tells me that her parents have a toyota and that this has happened before. She suggested she roll the window down all the way then try to roll it back up. I give her permission, but unfortunately, the window stayed in the down potion once she rolled it all the way down and my driver side switch and her switch would not roll it back up. I soon found out after a quick google search that the windows must be re-initiated after a battery reset. I went through this process successfully with the two back seat windows and the sun roof, but no matter what I did the front passenger window would not roll up. When you press the switch down on the passenger side, you can her a quick noise from inside the door, but if you pull the switch up, nothing happens. This leads me to believe the motor still works. The front passanger window worked just fine before I disconnected the batter, so I can't imagine any parts are broken. Is it possible that because I did not follow the re-initiating procedure on the front passenger window, it is now unable to roll up. I'm hoping I don't have to pay the dealer to sort this out, but of course I won't have much choice as it's kinda important to not have a window on your car down at all times. :cries:

Maybe I should have told my girlfriend to not roll the window all the way down before I hit up google. Oh well. Can't fault her as I told her it was ok to try. Anyone else run into this situation?
