Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to a 95 sc400 I just picked up on a trade. I made the trade for this 400 for a work/dd car to keep miles off my new truck. Based off of all the info I could find on the Web before I made the trade, these 400s are supposed to be some reliable cars. With that being said, this one has a few problems I would like some help with. At wot the Trans will no shift into next gear, red lines instead and shifts once rpms come down, under normal/medium throttle Trans shifts perfect. Also noticed a check engine light so researched and pulled codes relative to rpm signal, iat sensor, and maf sensor. Upon reading the maf sensor code, I noticed precious owner has it unplugged. I'm really nervous about the rpm code as I have no idea where to start with that one. The car has slight miss at idle, but runs good until wot when it won't shift. I hope the Trans isn't on its way out. Also needs a braje booster and has a grinding noise when turning sharp to the right from left front wheel area.Previous owner said he has done the following within the last year: new timing belt, new plugs, new wires, new head gaskets, Trans flush, new rear end oil (amsoil ), new front calipers and pads. I think he took care of the car but ran it hard. Sorry for the long story but any help with the above problems would be greatly appreciated. 95 sc400. 180k miles

Checked Trans fluid cold this morning, first time I could check it cold, and it was way above the hot mark on the dipstick. Could draining to the proper level posibly help it shift better?
