Auto Leveling On 04 Is300

I have a 2004 is300 and recently had some paint work done and headlights were romped. When it was put back together the indicator light on the dash has stayed on and the headlights no longer self level at start up. I have heard that if the car was started and moved while the lights were out this will cause the go into a "safe mode". Has anyone seen this or maybe know how to reset them?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
