Mr Papa Giorgio
Just wondering if the 1995 ls400 has the solenoid by the rack and pinion like the first gen ls? if it does should I remove it and clean it? I replaced the power steering pump and I have not preformed the flush yet. so i'd like to find out before I flush the system.
landar
I think the answer is 'yes'. Have a look at this link and take a look at yours. While you are flushing, I would highly recommend cleaning the filter ->http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls400/343856-all-in-one-power-steering-fix-s-solenoid-acv-plug-drain-flush-bleed-system-diy.html

Mr Papa Giorgio
today I removed the solenoid from my 95. after getting it off I found that the screen/filter had a hole in it and was very dirty. So I'm gonna head down to the salvage yard and get one from there. They have 2 that I seen still had the solenoid attached so I'll probably get both just for spares.
