tangokim
i purchased my gs300 in 06 and ever since this car have a lot of issues. First the dash will not stop clicking and making noises over the pass 7 yrs even i took in it for like 10 times and different dealer ship. My car since day one would stumble on cold start here and there but not severed.Lately my car would stumbled like it want to turn off n back on during startup and stoping at red light, and sometime rpm goes up to 5 and my car still stuck at 40 or whatever speed im on.All this make me wonder whats going on so i did some search on google and here, found out it might be the famous miss fire everyone is talking about. So i took it to the dealer ship and have them run the test. My gs300 is at 103k and i do not have extended warranty on it. The test came back positive for miss fire.To make the story short the advisor at lexus told me that it will cover under lexus warranty(yay!)BUT it will take at least 2 and 1/2 YEARS for the parts to come in.So my question for you guys is ,is this true? does it take that long for them to get the parts in? so i call lexus corp and told them about the situation and the case manager was super nice and told me thats not the case but depend on the dealer ship and he gave me credit for future repair and parts, such a nice guy and lexus.Im not really sure if i want to bring back my car to this deal anymore. One thing i forgot to mention during the testing the advisor told me about a error code p something which saying error with o2 sensor fail, and i told me what is that code and how much it will cost, he told me to lookup google and its not cheap.Does this service sound right to you guys? should advisor be like that to customer? thank you for taking your time to read this,im so mad at this dealer ship . I didnt want to take my car back to this dealer ship since i made a complain to lexus corp and affraid they might take longer to order and fix my car.
