'01 Es 300, Hits Ground Ground When Going Over Bumps

Hey Guys, I recently bought a lexus ES 300,immaculate condition and works great only issue I have is when I go over a speed bump I hear this squeaking sound, almost like something's loose on both front wheels! And also when I'm merging with traffic onto the interstate, the car feel like it literally hit the ground!!! I carried it to my mechanic and told him the problem, he told me he tighten a few bolts and sprayed some W40 and as you suspect they noise and problem continued...What do you think it is? I suspect it's the shocks... I would appreciate some feedback,thanks!
