Gen5 Navi Question

Hi guys,

I have a prado that didn’t come with navi and would like to install the lexus navi since they are available 2nd hand. Now I have seen photos on the internet with the prado coming with navi but the navi maps looks like gen3 or 4 and personally I’m interested in the Gen5 look. Let’s say money aint an issue and wanted to know what’s the upgrade in terms of components from Gen4 to Gen5? I read in an old post here that GPS hard drive hardware is updated to a bigger memory, but what else? is the screen the same in all GX470 models? this information helps a lot when it comes in buying components.

I know I will need this to complete the conversion:

1- screen

2- frame

3- tape (has the control)

4- GPS drive

5- DVD changer

6- AC climate control

7- console lighting built in mic in front of moonroof

8- rear view camera (my car came equipped with rear view camera and screen is in the rear view mirror just like the FJ, so the cable is there)

9- anything else?

please comment and advise on how to make this conversion possible
