catotucker Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 My '99 LS400 started to make a clicking sound, all of a suddent, under the shifter on the console every time I apply the brakes. If the engine is on and I apply the brake it will make a clicking sound, whether parked, in neutral or goind down the road. Previously it was absolutely silent. It is very anoying and I want to fix/replace before something happens. I can acutually feel the clicking when i put my hand on the console panel. Any suggestions on what the problem is and what the cost to replace the part(s) might be, and how difficult the repair would be? Does anyone have instructions on how to access under the shifter?
