'98 Es300 Wheel Bearing Replacement Procedure Question

I've been trying to research wheather or not the '98 ES300 wheel bearings need to have the knuckle removed (at least partially) or is that the year that has the 4 bolts accessible through the hub where you can just remove the hub and leave the steering knuckle attached ?

I think it's the type that needs to removed completely but I have to ask. =O)
