Slow Shifting 99 Rx300 Transmission

Hi All, As I am a new member I'm not sure I'm doing this right but I'll try. I have a 99 RX 300 with high miles but it runs great.

For quite a while now when I start the car a the engine is cold the trany will not shift into overdrive or the last shift of the drive position. After the engine warms up about 4 or 5 minutes or so the transmission shifts fine with no futher problems.

When I once again start the car up and proceed to drive , same thing happens ,no shifting into overdrive until the engine warms up

then all is fine with the trany once again. Does anyone out there have any experiance like mine or any thoughts on how to correct my problem. Any help, I would greatly appreciate.
