Lost Key....need Key Code

i've recently lost my keys and i'm searching everywhere for the key code of my ignition.

i'm wondering if anyone has had this problem and can tell me where i can find this so called key code so i can get my new key without paying 400 bucks.

take your serial number and go to a lexus dealer and they can look up the necessary codes and should be able to provide a key or give you the info to get one from a locksmith.

not sure if the locksmith can look up the serial number to get the key cut. also do you have coverage from your insurance carrier for replacement keys if lost. some insurance companies provide that coverage.
