Arian Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 My RX350 was recently polished by one of my daughter's friends so that he can make some money. Unfortunately, I think he went overboard and put some of the shining liquid on the front panel as well. As a result, originally there was no sound coming out of the sound system. We managed to use a vacuum cleaner and got the sound system to the point that we now have intermittent sound which proves what Lexus recommendation to have the amplifier replaced to be incorrect. Also, the sound coming out of GPS is normal. I am thinking that the volume of the radio has become affected and, therefore, looking for a procedure to remove the radio, as spraying around the volume from outside with contact cleaner did not help.
