kmurray Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 I recently had a new alternator and battery installed the car ran great for 2 weeks the last two days while driving about 30 min it would just die then after a few minutes it would start again. Now tonight it shut off on me and wont start... this started happening after I lost my gas cap and bought a new one at the auto parts store ......would not having a Lexus gas cap cause this?
