Tynelson415
Hey there, I just bought my first Lexus. The key worked fine when the previous owner started it up, it worked fine when I started it for the test drive, it work fine when I moved the car out of the way, it worked fine when my friend drove it to the gas station, it worked fine when she started it after getting gas and moved over to get air, but after I put some more air in the tires the key would not turn. When I first started trying to turn it the wheel was straight. After trying to move the wheel a bit it locked, but I still have the standard range of movement. I rotated the wheel back and fourth in the range of motion I had while moving the key in and out with the car in park and my foot on the gas, but no luck. Finally after 3 hours I called a tow truck. I tried using some graphite powder like some users suggested, but still no luck. Has this happened to anybody else? Does anybody have any techniques? Thanks, Tyler
