Sneakers
Finally dumped the runflats after 2 bent wheels and killing 3 tires...got a set of Hancooks which ride like a dream. But when I saw the price for a spare donut I had to laugh - My solution was an is350 spare. I bought 5 acorn nuts at the local NAPA store. Tire fits perfectly. I secured the tire to the D rings in the trunk using the cargo net (put it over the tire from the top when the tire is in the well) and 2 S hooks. I tied a knot in the shock cord of the cargo net to give it the proper tension, then I added another bungee cord to be sure it did not rattle while in motion. Finally I cut out the trunk panel to fit around the tire well and used carpet binding and hot glue to secure it. It is functional, looks great and coat me about $130 vs the $750 kit from Lexus or the $300 tires on ebay.
