Rotor Removal

I've been told that in order to remove the front rotors on my 2007 ES350 I need to use 12MM bolts to pull-off the rotor.

Am I correct and are the bolts course or fine thread and what length are they?

Found out that the rotors can be removed by inserting two 8MM 125 thread bolts into the pre drilled holes and alternating the tightening them untill the rotor pops off. Was very easy to do.
