Lukiepoo
Have a '99 with a leaking after-market windshield. The glass place wants to replace the entire thing, since they won't touch someone else's work. I just want to seal it so water doesn't end up in my driver's side electrical junction box anymore. Causes all kinds of weird things to happen. Does anyone have any experience in properly removing the side trim piece on the drivers side of the windshield, so that it could be re-installed? It appears to be attached to the weather stripping for the door as well. I can't tell if it's supposed to snap off, peel off, if it's part of the windshield or what, and there appears to be no screws... Hopefully I can get behind there to find the edge of the glass and seal my leaks. Thanks for your help! --Luke

RDM
Sorry, could have replied but I didn't see the post. You're right, all models of the LS400 are secured this way.
