Fuse Or ? For Driving Position/license Plate Light

The seat and position selection buttons ( 1 & 2 ) have decided to stop working. I'm assuming a fuse or circuit breaker has popped but I have no idea which one. Fuses look ok. Anybody know if this is a common problem?

License plate light bulbs are both out. I removed the 2 screws for each little plastic plate only to find that the screws apparently do nothing. I asked about this once before and was advised to pry gently on little detents on the edges of the plastic lenses...I have none of those. Is there a secret to this?
