Lowering Springs - Opinions Please

hello fellow lexus owners.

im new to this forum and a new lexus owner - 2001 with 134,000 km. i've just put on some hankook 225/45zr/17 on the stock rims and want to lower the car with tanabe gf 210 springs ( 2" front/1.5"back) any feedback on these would be helpful. also what type of shocks are people using .

If you have the money i would skip lowering springs all together. coilovers cost more but they are adjustable unlike lowering springs plus on my opinion look better.
