Spark Plugs

I've done it on my LS430 with the same engine. The plugs are deeply recessed and some are a pain to get clearance for tools. The battery has to be removed to get to the plug nearest to it. I had to move the dipstick tube to get to another one. The recessed plugs also present some interesting challenges while you try to retrieve your socket and extensions that sometimes come loose as you try to pull the deep socket off of the plug. I think I used a 1.5", 3", 6" and a 9" extension to work my way around the engine. Lots of plastic also has to be removed such as engine cover and air intake. At least your not on your back with rust and grit falling in your eyes! I highly recommend Denso Ik20's for your plugs of choice. They're not cheap but they're OEM replacements and will reward you with improved performance and optimum mileage.
