Replaced Spark Plugs, Now Runs Rough 98 Es300

I replaced the spark plugs and wires on my 98 es300. Now it runs rough and backfires. Double checked the wires, correct according to the wiring diagrams online and what I remember in replacing the wires. I took the newly installed plugs out, and they were completely burned up. Put the old plugs back in, car still runs rough.

if its backfiring then it almost has to be a crossed wire.
