Help Please

I need your help please. As a foreign member I am not allowed to post in the "buy and sell" section.

I run (with great joy - I must add) a right hand drive RX400h in London England.

Now I am after a good 2nd hand left hand drive RX400h for our holiday home in Portugal.

Hoping such vehicles will be available in the US I kindly ask for your advise.

Are there any special dealers that specialise in export of such cars to the UK? If so could you possibly point me in the right direction?

Any "pitfalls" in buying a second hand car in the US?

What I ideally would like is black exterior and oakham interior.

Sorry to post in this forum, but hopefully someone will take pity on me and help......

Thanking you in advance for your kind cooperation.

I've been in the same tough spot. Finishing a semester at Cambridge & getting ready to return from the UK to the U.S. I found a beautiful antique side board (piece of furnature) just west of town. I couldn't find anyone to help me with shipping. There are companies that specialize in that sort of thing, and they'll handle the whole process. My custom harley was purchased by such a business, then shipped to Germany. Working with customs internationally, I'd suggest searching on line for companies to handle the transaction.

good luck!

I'm not sure if RX right-hand drive is imported to US. Nissan Skyline GTO is the only right-hand drive Japanese car that I heard of in US. You may have a better luck finding used RX400h in UK, OZ, or NZ. I used to be US expat in Japan for 8 years. We used to see families from those countries taking their car with them when they finished their assignments.

On car transporters, you may want to research the web for the best deal. One of the biggest is Nitssu or Nippon Express. They should have an office all around the world.

Hello Great Dane,

Would this Black Left Hand RX400h suit you ?

Swiss docs - 40'000 km - 06.2006 - bluetooth and GPS Europe 2009 updated, both unlocked to use while driving if desired - front and rear parking sensors - available oem wheels with winter tires mounted, as well as the oem single exhaust pipe. This is a well tuned jewel located in Geneva...Interior is light grey leather though...

Have a look at the pics... and if really interested email me: agosin at yahoo.com

And since I know you will ask why I would let it go, the answer is: I barely use the car once or twice a week now and this beast deserves to go around.

Cheers!

Agosin
