staden Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 I certainly love my 2005 LS 430 - it only has 19,000 and I am hoping to keep it a few more years. However this error msg has been hitting me once or twice a week. The Lexus 800 towing/help line is aware of the problem and has a workaround that eventually gets the car started. I jiggle the key and strongly pull the steering wheel to the left and the right for a period of time. My wife does not have the muscle or technique to do this. I am wondering -- Has Lexus fixed this problem for anyone? Or is this a feature. My dealer could not re-create this problem when I brought the car in for repair. Help.
