2006 Gs 300 W/o Ml And Apple 3g

I'm very interested in purchasing a 2006 GS 300 w/o the ML package but I have a couple questions. Is the Iphone 3g completely compatible with bluetooth interface and is the ML package a lot better than stock version?

Oh, can you watch DVD in park w/o the ML package?

The iphone works great with my 06 gs430 w/ levinson system. I don't think the mark levinson system has anything to do with phone compatability, just the sound system. You CANNOT sync your address book to your lexus and it doesnt ring when you call ppl, it's just silent until they answer but otherwise works fine.
