hustlestar Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 hey guys i just found this forum and was hopping one of you could help me out. i have a 92 ES300 3.0L v6 lexus, i have had it since february and from there it has been rolling like charm until july i dint used the car for a month because i was working overseas and when i came back i noticed that 1)my power steering fluid and anti-freeze both are leaking as soon as i put them in it take about 2 hours and all leak out of the car 2) when sometime i start my car the engine doesnt start, it start clicking and goes crazy but does not start ,that problem started like 3 days ago and i really dont know what causing that problem exactly 3) when i got back from russia, as welll i drove my left back wheel use to make this squeaking noise everytime that i brake my car even when i drove u could hear the squeaking noise which is very annoying 4)last but not least when i drive the car sometime and i stop at the ligth the car runs fine but sometime i press on the gaz and it doesnt go rigth away the transmission jump in liek 2 seconds later,that it was i hate the most of all this do you think i should just get rid of the car? because i really have no idea how much all this is going to cost me at all and im sure pretty expensive migth as well buy anotehr car rigth anyways let me know but i love lexus Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kingjack133 Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 ....sounds like seals are gone maybe water pump and starter/cellunoid and needs brake job too.....a thousand bucks will get you started on the fix ups....maybe get an estimate on repairs and you ll see where you stand. Felicia Posted January 28, 2017 Share Posted January 28, 2017 Did you or anyone recently try to recharge your ac unit with the do it yourself over the counter canister. Higher end vehicles like lexus, Mercedes, bmw, Cadillac etc. Will act by which you have described if the Freon is not done professionally by a shop or machine. The same pressure must remain in the system. So when old is sucked out it has to immediately be replaced and followed by the new.
