Old machine Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 Help me find EGR vacuum modulator, plz... I have got 25870-62020 from Lexus dealer and try DIY. However, I couldn't find it. One interesting thing is that I found a tube coming out from EGR valve and it goes into VSV. BUT, the tube is cut in a half and somebody connected it with a bolt. I checked the connection and it is completely blocked. So it does not really go into VSV. From a lot of sources I found in the forum, EGR modulator should be placed between EGR valve and VSV. If anybody has a picture, please post it. I have looked for the part thoroughly for 30 min, but I could not find even the similar part. Again it is 98 ES 300. I downloaded a manual and found the part I am missing. It's Vacuum Surge Tank. Is it necessary??? I don't know who took it out. I still need to position EGR vacuum modulator.
