reloj
My 2000 ES3000 with 76,000 miles started going to 4000 RPM while going 55 MPH consistenly. The RPMs are fine while idling. I don't think it is a transmission problem. Any suggestions on what it might me?
kashi125
It sounds like a transmission problem--can you feel it up-shift through all the gears as you are speeding?
reloj
Yes it seems to be shifting smoothly. Not like some of the other cars that I have owned, you can tell when the transmission is having problems with it slipping when it changes gears.
