Need Help Asap Please......................

Recommended Posts

Well i have a 93 ES300. Well it ran good with a clicking noise coming from the car everytime I turn the wheel. Well one day I was just getting out of my driveway and I heard the clicking noise more loudly and the car stayed on but the car wouldn't move. Well I had to push the car back to the driveway but I have a problem. I was wondering if it could be the CV Axle Shaft Assembly that I need to replace so it can run again. And also when I put the car in Drive or Neutral the clicking noise will be very loud but the car wouldn't move. plus everybody knows that when you put an automatic car in Park it locks up but it moves a little bit when in Park. I have to put the handbrake up. Can someone please give me some advice.........

humm. . tough call on this one. the CV Shafts are attached t to the tranny. It could be both the tranny and shafts. Lift up the car and go under with the car safety supported by stands. Shake the shafts. If the shafts can move, that will most likely be your problem. Also inspect the shaft joins.

Thanks. I'll try that. I believe that it's the CV Shaft because the guy I bought it from had this list with things the car needed that was printed out from Advance Auto Parts and the Cv Shaft is on the list. It's other things on the list but its little stuff like bulbs and wipers
