MHSbrandon
Hello everybody, my name is Brandon. I have recently gotten a 1992 Lexus ES 300 in October, it is my first car. It needs some work which is why I chose it. I have really grown to like it. My dad and I have done alot of work on it and it is almost ready to start getting detailed. My question today is how do I remove the Climate Control unit, as I have gotten another one off of ebay because the current ones characters on the screen are going black. I found a little bit of instructions on "wikki answers" and have gotten somewhere with it. The thing is, it says there is two clips that cover the top screws that hold the climate control and radio in place are inside the big center AC vent. I have removed the two bottoms screws that are covered by that plastic cover, but have not gotten the two top ones. I am a little afraid to do the top two screws because there is already one crack on AC vent from the previous owner. It looks like there is no avoiding it though. Could you guys please give me some adive. Thanks, and I am looking forward to being on here with you guys!
