pilot500
A little history. I bought the ls430 from an insurance company and repaired the car. The only recurring problem is that on ocassion, the brakes do not completly release. When I detect this, I put my foot under the brake pedal and pull up. There is NO feeling of movement, but the car now rolls freely. I have noticed that when the brakes are fine, the pedal depresses about 2 inches or so to stop the car. When the problem occurs, the pedal has pumped up to the point where there is little or no free play. The cars stops fine, the ABS works ok. One last clue. The original accident caused the brake/booster combination to be pushed up. These units were pulled down into their original position. Thanks in advance to any opinions.
