08 Nav Question: Cd Does Not Do 'random' When Selected

I have had this car for a month and it's a dream. However, I will SWEAR that it used to go to another track at random when RANDOM is selected, by using the ^ button on the steering wheel. Now it just goes to the next track numerically. I had it in today for the 1000 mile checkup and they said it worked for them. I drove off and sure enough, RANDOM goes to the next track. What gives? I'm going to check the book but every other music device I have, if RANDOM is selected, it will go to a random track. Sounds logical, right?
