Knock Sensor Fault

Hi everyone, I was a Lexus Tech in New Zealand so I know a little about these cars.

It seems I have a common problem. My No 2 knock sensor circuit. I replaced the sensor, it did not fix the problem. I still get the fault reappearing.

I use 91 Oct fuel. Should I try 95 Oct or is there some other solution? I read one string that talked about over sensitive Knock sensors. should I put a resistor in the circuit? There are lots of strings on the subject but not any firm answers to the problem.

Thanks

PS Is the No 2 knock sensor on the bank nearest the firewall????
