lspb4 Posted October 14, 2007 Share Posted October 14, 2007 hi, I just had a head gasket job on my 92 es300 and after a couple of days my car started overheating. I noticed the fan wasnt speeding up...my mechanic changed the swith on the passenger side of car. he took out the solenoid and the o ring was stuck. so he changed the o ring and put it back...what can be the problem? all wires are connected Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CUMan Posted October 15, 2007 Share Posted October 15, 2007 I had an overheating problem in our 94 ES during the summer of 2006. The problem related to the hydraulic cooling fan and the solenoid which controls it. I wrote a lengthy post about the steps I went through trying to determine what the problem was.
