I had an overheating problem in our 94 ES during the summer of 2006. The problem related to the hydraulic cooling fan and the solenoid which controls it. I wrote a lengthy post about the steps I went through trying to determine what the problem was. That post and the other posts contributed by other folks might help you with your problem.
