andre645 Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 My 2007 LS460 Tire pressure display this morning showed an alert for low pressure with the top of the air pressure in the five tires highlighted. The display said to check ALL tires. En route to a meeting I stopped at a service station where there was a slot to deposit 75 cents for air. Opening the small drawer where I keep coins for parking meters, I found it empty, thanks to valet parking the last time or two. I will now keep coins locked in the glove compartment. Obtaining change, I inserted 75 cents, but the infernal thing did NOT provide any air to inflate my tires. Returning to the cashier, he said he would activate the machine, just push the red button for air. I did, and it still did NOT work. As the display showed air pressure for the top tire display at 30 psi, I just left to get to the meeting on time. After the meeting, I checked the Owner's Manual which was of ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. Can anyone tell me (us) in which order the display refers to the tires - I assume the top highlighted as showing low pressure meant the LEFT FRONT TIRE. But who knows? A guessing game I did not appreciate. I will take the car into the Lexus dealer to-morrow (Monday) morning. In the meantime I will appreciate any information and comments from other Lexus owners. Incidentally, this is my THIRD Lexus since 1993 - I think the Lexus is absolutely a terrific car. Before that I drove a Mercedes, and will NEVER but another Mercedes. Thanks to all. 07LS460 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 The 1st reading at the top is the spare. In the 08s, you need to have 40lbs plus in the spare otherwise you'll get a low pressure alert on the dash.
