constantlyalert
I have a 1995 Lexus ES300 that turns over (battery and starter are OK) but it won't start now. I hadn't driven it for several weeks and when I tried to start it, it wouldn't start. I checked it a week later and it started and ran. The next day it also started and ran, but then the following day it wouldn't start. Any ideas? What should I check first? It seems it is an electrical problem of some kind. What are the simplest ways to test for spark and fuel? I suspect fuel pump or relay for fuel pump. All lights and accessories work. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Mikey2383
I had this same problem about 2 years ago. My car over heated on one of the hot days of the year. Then when I got to work the next day it wouldn't start. I tried jumping it and everything else I could think to do. I would just turn over but never catch... Turns out it was my timing belt. About $350 later running great ever since...
